i've self-imposed the term “compulsive artist”, meaning my whole being is usually affected by some creative compulsion, of which the medium always changes.  one week i can't put a pencil down.  the next, i can't stop my feet.  the next, words spill out of me.  this is the way it's always been, and while growing up, i was often perplexed by it, oftentimes angered that i couldn't devote myself completely to one discipline and forsake all the others, to achieve greatness.  i know now this isn't what i'm physiologically intended to do.  part of keeping myself balanced is understanding that my creative passions change, and that going with it allows me to excel.  i'm happiest, and most productive, when i cease to resist.

there are other notable dimensions to myself, i suppose, such as my love for travel, my veganism, my penchant for the spontaneous, mystic, and romantic… but i don't really want to make a laundry list.  i want to speak, and be spoken to.  so let's stop the explanations right here.
